SUN opens its third open call to scale start-ups in the space sector

Entering its second year, the Space Hubs Network programme launches its third open call. From the period of 19th of January 2022 to 14th of April 2022, we are calling all innovative start-ups, scale-ups, and entrepreneurs in the space sector to join our programme and scale their businesses.

This two-year EU-funded programme helps companies, with promising space upstream and downstream solutions, to develop their technology in the space sector through different support programmes: pre-incubation, pre-acceleration, post-acceleration, aims to scout more start-ups to increase the commercialisation of space-enabled solutions and the growth of European entrepreneurs.

In order to provide mentoring and support to the entrepreneurs, SUN has a pool with more than 50 mentors with distinct expertise that covers different areas of action, such as space and aerospace, innovation, investments, entrepreneurship, marketing, business development, and more. Furthermore, the SUN’s programme aims also to host several webinars, hackathons and roadshows with relevant topics in the space sector, promoting synergies and adding value to the European space ecosystem.

The SUN project is promoted by six organisations with experience in the space sector and/or start-ups industry community: Axsysnav, Brimatech Services, Civitta Romania, F6S, Science Park Graz and Startup Division. All the support provided with the project is free of charge to all the selected participants.
